The overall course comprises semesters lasting between 16 and 20 weeks. The full duration of the course for students admitted to the first year amounts to a minimum of 120 weeks internships included).
The variety of pedagogical activities and the means used for their implementation contribute to the development of essential qualities required of an engineer. Throughout their course, students in the civil engineer programme have an opportunity to practise team work (conducting projects), written communication (drafting internship reports, curriculum vitae, letters of application, etc.) and oral communication (presentation of projects, chairing meetings, etc.).
The limited number of students per class (approximately 100 students per year) facilitates varied pedagogical methods and ensures that genuine tutorial guidance is given to each student.
THE PROGRAMMES COMPRISE FOUR MAJOR TYPES OF PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITIES:
- common core activities:
- common core courses
- personalized courses
- modern languages
- selected courses also known as "specialized courses"
- "minor" activities
- internships in companies and abroad.
